The President called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.

Treasurers Report

Treasures report was passed out.

Attorney, Scott Kappler, sent letter out on 8 July 2005 to a homeowner owing back association dues. On 1 August 2005, Nowland Homeowner Association received a letter from Scott Kappler stating homeowner back dues have been paid in full.

Landscaping Report

The committee is waiting on estimates for entrance landscaping enhancements. The estimates are for trees and stump removal this fall. Approximately 10 trees will be replaced next spring.

Pond and Pump Report

The committee has confirmed the repair parts for the control panels have been installed.

Open Discussion

The board is looking at a special assessment to access the cost to the homeowner who has failed to remove and replace dead trees in the front park strips. The landscape committee will identify properties with dead trees.

The board will look at sending a letter to homeowners who have sheds and those who leave garbage can and trash in front of their house.

The board is considering alternating next years meeting schedule between Wednesdays and Thursdays evenings. This is to increase attendance at the meetings. The president will contact the township to confirm if the hall is available.

At the annual meeting a social committee needs to be established.

A real estate agent has contacted us requesting to advertise on our web site. The board will review.

Glenda Prost who does a web site for a neighboring subdivision has contacted us inquiring if we have a welcoming committee. They are trying to establish a committee.

Next Meeting

The next meeting is scheduled to be at Township Hall, lower level meeting room C from 7 to 9 pm on November 2, 2005.

Decembers meeting is scheduled for 7 December at Township Hall, lower level meeting room C from 7 to 9 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
